Yes, just still on fluids. I take small sips of Water and I feel it all the way down. It feels like it gets stuck in chest area.

I'm not hungry at all. Very thirsty and can't take much at all in at one time. Trying for 1/2 ounce every five minutes but I can feel it go down and it feels like it's stuck! Have chest pains right after swallowing. Anyone experience this and please tell it gets better!

I also have BCBS and the had a specific form with all the requirement and all the things you have to do to qualify. Mine also had to be at a center of excellence.

I lost 9.6 pounds this week, that's the only good thing I can say about this past week! I really really struggled last night. I was thinking of all the reason why I shouldn't go through with the surgery. I eventually went to bed at 8:00pm just to not think about eating anymore. Today is Memorial Day. I am going to a family get together where as usual the central focus is FOOD! And starting today, I get four Protein Shakes and NO FOOD! Lord help me get through this day (week)!

I lost 9.6 pounds this week, that's the only good thing I can say about this past week! I really really struggled last night. I was thinking of all the reason why I shouldn't go through with the surgery. I eventually went to bed at 8:00pm just to not think about eating anymore. Today is Memorial Day. I am going to a family get together where as usual the central focus is FOOD! And starting today, I get four Protein Shakes and NO FOOD! Lord help me get through this day (week)!

Mine is June 6th and I just wrote some of these same things in my journal today! I knew I had an unhealthy relationship with food, but never thought it was this bad. Day 6 of the pre-op diet and I'm struggling soooo much! I will get through this! And you will too! Write your feelings down, it helps to get them out. I was so mad yesterday that I even cried. But I got through it, now almost through another day... We can do this!

Day 6 of the pre-op diet and I'm struggling soooo much! I will get through this! And you will too! Write your feelings down, it helps to get them out. I was so mad yesterday that I even cried. But I got through it, now almost through another day... We can do this!

im on my 48 hour clear and volunteered to work ot on third shift to avoid the bbq plates etc. I will be home sleep while everyone is eating. Good luck

Yes this helps so much! I just went to the 'class' at my surgeons office and it was maybe info overload because I think I left with more questions than I had to begin with. The Vitamins were the most overwhelming part for me. Especially after coming home and surfing the net for them... There are soooo many and my head is spinning! I did do my blood work that day as well so hopefully they will give me more specifics on my personal needs. Thanks again!
