OK I feel like I owe it to my community to give you guys an update on my weight loss and how I feel about my surgery being that I use this app as a tool early in my surgery and it was what got me through the new adjustment! I want to say that I am having the best time of my life it is so much fun losing weight and I hate that I cheated myself out of this opportunity for so long if anyone out there is on the fence about their decision this is EVERTHING! Getting the sleeve has been the biggest regret of my life. I wish i could warn everyone and I will. If you want the new normal to be throwing up all the time and being sick then this is the choice for you. I am so mad at myself for not having enough self control to just stop eating so much and to just work out. Im 3 weeks post op and i just am so mad at myself, the insurance company and everyone. I just want to say i am so thankful for all of the replies and I love this site! I want to say now that i am on solid foods I am no longer sick and feel soo much better. I am also no longer regretting having this surgery which was a gift because i now realize how unhealthy i was doing my body before. I will say the first 3 weeks are the hardest but into week 4 it gets sooo much better!

I have been doing cucumbers with a little salt and pepper with a low fat french onion dip or sometimes add a little turkey and cheese to them and they are amazing and fulfilling! Kindest regards, phuckyourtruth

I felt the same way just last week but I feel completely different in a week later now that I have started the soft foods it's actually got me in a better mood but I was telling the exact same way stick in there make sure that you try to keep as much liquids that is possible because I had to ask everyone how do they expect me to keep 64 ounces of liquor but I am after going to my postop appointment I am not dehydrated you just have to keep really positive and you know what I'm doing is looking up VSG sisters on Instagram in reading their stories and seeing the before and after and food since they are trying Kindest regards, phuckyourtruth I meant of liquids! Thanks for the support yes i saw my dr today and he said i have no complications and im doing good but i feel miserable it may be a phase but i am on purée stage so only baby food and liquids but i have been throwing up every single morning and my dr said thats normal just take nausea meds but i have done that and still cant keep enough liquids down. I talked to one of my friends Who had the surgery and NOW she tells me she is sick everyday no matter what and always has stomach issues. She then took off her wig and showed me all the bald Patches from hair loss due to not getting Protein in. I wish she would have been more honest with me before surgery about her complications rather than just coming over every week slimmer and acting happy when she is not. I was furious.
