The first month I lost 23 pounds. I lost almost all of the rest by November. I always thought a stall was a day or two it is not. I stalled out most of the winter and have only lost a few pounds. Im still losing inches though. Make sure you measure everywhere today because it will be help you keep your sanity later when pounds dont seem to be coming off on the scale. Sometimes the pounds dont come off because your gaining muscle or other reasons and it is very frustrating especially when your doing everything right. Thats why I got rid of my scale in February and I am much happier. I went to doctors in early March so I know Im losing again. I measure my Upper Arm, Thigh, Calf, Butt, Hips, Waist, Upper Belly, Lower Belly and Bust. I measure every Tuesday. I have lost 13 inches just on my waist. Over 11 inches on my butt, lower and upper belly. Over 8 inches on my thigh. Thats just one thigh and over 7 on my bust. That keeps me very motivated when the scale isnt budging.

Check out swimsuitsforall.com. They have all sizes and have a lot of those cute high-waist retro type bottoms. Plus you can buy them as seperates which is great. I am able to buy a couple of bottoms in black and brown or navy and then buy all kinds of tops that match then you can have different suits.

You pick which hospital and the date. I really loved that hospital.

Dr Fitzer did my surgery in 7/19. He did an excellent job. I have had not one complication. I had my surgery in Haymarket at Novant and that hospital was great. Clean, quiet and all the staff was very friendly.

Dr Fitzer was my surgeon. I was sleeved 7/19/16. I was very happy with him. I did only see him during the web meeting, first office visit and for a minute right before we went into surgery. So I can understand how someone would not be happy with his bedside manner. It didnt bother me. His staff always went above and beyond in helping with all the questions and details that I felt safe. It did the part I was worried about perfectly and that was the surgery. They told me before no pain meds but I dont like pain meds at all so I was fine. I didnt even take Tylenol. It hurt but was bareable. I had no complications then and never have since surgery and Im over 4 months post op. Ive never ever thrown up. SW-245 CW-190. Im 5'4 1/2. Ive been off all bp meds since month 2. First time since before I was 18 and Im 48. It was my main reason for surgery. I feel so much better already and if I didnt lose another pound I would still be happy and it was worth it. I wish I would have done it sooner. I highly recommend him. He is a nice guy but if you are wanting a doctor who will personally be at every appt that wont happen. I had my surgery in Haymarket at Novant. I loved that place. Everyone was nice. the sleep study wasn't bad. By the time they hooked all the wires to me, I was ready for bed.

My testing did not give me anything to help me sleep. They want you to try to achieve a typical night's sleep. You shouldn't stay awake the night before, however I'd recommend you not take a nap that day and try to be tired for the sleep test. Maybe do some extra walking/exercise that day. I had a hard time sleeping for my test and worried it wouldn't be enough sleep, but in the end I slept for 4-5 hours (broken up) and it was enough for them to work with.

I will be having surgery June 4th. Im so nervous, excited and a lil scared too .

I'll be having mine in June hopefully! It was very quick for me. I am a self pay because my insurance pays 0% of any weight loss surgery. I went in for my consultation Wednesday, May 25th and am scheduled for a nutrition class and a hematologist (I have a rare blood clotting disorder) visit for June 7th and my final appointment (pre-op day) will have to be scheduled one week before surgery. I'm hoping I'll be scheduled for surgery by the end of June.

Hi all - I am hoping for a July date. I have my last nut visit on June 2nd. I see the Dr on June 7th. If all goes according to plan then they will submit for insurance. I cant believe I am nearing the end of this process and am getting so excited.
Where is every located? I am in Bradenton, FL.

My surgeon offered me July 7th as a date today. I have to confirm that with his assistant when she's back in the office on Tuesday. I still need to do some bloodwork and the echocardiogram and get insurance approval. It's a good date for me so I hope it works out.

Yay, I have a surgery buddy!

I am having it at Robert Wood Johnson. Surgery was postponed though until 7/7 as my surgeon will be out of the country.
