This is a hard question to answer.....but know that just because your stomach is grumbling doesn't mean you're hungry.....Your stomach will be very very grumbley! So don't use that as a sign of hunger. If you think you actually feel hungry drink more Water. You really shouldn't be feeling hunger. If you are having issues with stomach acid make sure you're taking a PPI. I'm sorry I can't be of more help, but it just takes time to learn your new stomach signals.

ive been feeling good. i had regrets after the surgery "like what the hell did i do!" but im better now. i realized i tried so many rimes before to lose the weight that i couldnt actually do it on my own any more wothout the surgery. My engagement rings fits!!!!
im unable to get all my Water in and i have been free sipping. going ro the market today to get ready for purees for tomorrow,very excited about that. i quit pain meds on fri and havent smoked a cigarette since preop (yay!).
the real problem is that im not sleepy at all
im freaking wired even at bedtime. im wide awake. i havent had a good sleep only on the pain meds. anyone experience that.

So I quit taking pain meds Sat night. I feel fine for the most part other than I feel each sip go down and its a bit unpleasant. I'm sure my sip isnt too big because I am drinking out of the little cups they gave me. Which leads me to my questions: is everyone "free" sipping, or using the cups every 15 min? Anyone off meds n feeling the swallow or do you all feel fine? Oh, I did have a small hiatal hernia repaired with a couple stitches, so maybe that has something to do with it. Surgeon post op tomorrow so wil be discussing with her, but wanted to see how you all were fairing.

feeling good! surgery went well. keeping down liquids. only thing some pressure in the chest like ifood is stuck. but it has gotten better and of course tenderness at the belly. they may even let me go home this afternoon and start full liquids tomorrow. i hope everyone is doing well.

i hear you!!! i cheated a couples of times. lol . i would chew the steak just to taste it and spit it out..lol it was hard but i down 11 pounds surgery is tomorrow. keeping fingers cross that the cheating didnt hinder anything. good luck stay strong

I'm with you! I'm excited by soooo nervous! I made a word cloud today and taped it to my bathroom mirror as a daily reminder of why I'm doing this.

Im nervous like crazy!! I finally got my date for July 26.

Now my surg. Is sch for 2-6 due to my husbands wirk sch I start my 1 week liquid diet Monday! But ive been trying to eat low carb all this week to get ready! So excited to begin this journey will all my shorty sistas

I sometimes find myself doing old bad habits with food (not as bad as this, but justifying my actions is not good either).

Congrats I also got the goahead with my surgeon. I have no date yet. Im excited and nervous. Did you buy or tried any shakes yet?
