Officially 200 lbs lost!!

Had my 6 week post op follow up (I'm actually 7.5 weeks post op) with the surgeon this morning. we discussed my progress not just since surgery but overall since my first appointment last december. He actually started to tear up he was so happy with how far I've come and when he told me how amazed he was, i teared up too. We had a good little happy cry right there in the exam room. Hard to believe this time last year I could barely walk a block without being in excruciating pain. Now I'm down 111lbs overall and 33 since surgery and feel pretty darn good!

Pre-Op apt with surgeon went well this morning. Helped put my mind at ease some... ready for Wednesday!

Things just aren't going well...after extensive research yesterday I realized I've messed up my pre-op diet by having fruit.

a good, dear friend is having the sleeve surgery RIGHT NOW and another good friend is signing up for the seminar - this, my friends, is why I choose to be transparent about my journey, the trials and successes.

hit the 70 lbs. lost mark today... still can't believe it! 2 months post op. So, so happy and healthy. <3

T.G.I.F. !!!! this weekend my husband turns 49, looking forward to celebrating HIM!

This journery is still so so so so surreal to me. I am 9.6 lbs away from my goal. I actually said out loud to my scale this morning "What?! No way!" This process is still shocking to me! I am lovin' it tho!!!!!

Went to store, used a mortozied cart (because of my ACL knee surgery TWO weeks ago). My teenager was Mortified. Saying that this was like my "600 lb life) and that I needed to lose weight (duh, WLS planned for Nov). I laughed it off, but also realized that if I don't have surgery/lose weight, I am headed for motorized cart & how hard it would be.

Today makes one year! I'm happy with my progress but so much more work to do. (See side by side pic in gallery)

Post-op day 8 and I'm feeling very down today. Nothing's wrong, I'm just so tired of liquids and not feeling normal.

Tired if all the BS .. Just want it all to end!!
