  1. Everyone who had this surgery has an eating disorder. Unless becoming obese was some rare medical condition. I'm sorry you're going through this and the rest are right, professional help is needed. You could also check out OA (over eaters anonymous). Bulimia is a real disease and it should be treated as one. I used to be good friends with a girl with Bulimia and as soon as she was done eating, she would go throw up and as soon as I was done eating, I would have a cigarette. I realized then how difficult it would be for her to stop, as it was just like my cigarette addiction.

The picture on the left is from late July 2015. I was just beginning my journey to WLS and weighed somewhere are 294lbs. The middle and right picture are from early May 2016, about 206lbs.

We have really similar stats. I'm only out almost 3 months so I'm at 226. How tall are you? My HW 291 SW 279 CW 226 GW 150

  3. I'm down 63 lbs. I was sleeved 3/28. HW 291 SW 279 CW 227. I'm still 74 lbs away from my goal weight which is 150. I can't believe so many ppl are so close to their goal. I'm 5'11 so I may be setting my sight too high (or low lol). I've had a few minor stalls but mostly have lost regularly. I've drank maybe 3 times. I can see that there may be a pattern with stalls happening around those times so I try to avoid it.

  4. I was just sleeved 3 months ago, along with my wife. We're good, but I've definitely changed. I don't put up with people's crap as much which has made my relationships with family, and my staff strained. It has made my staff respect me more but my family isn't quite as healthy and they are fighting against my new found voice.

  5. I'm in a stall AND I'm 9 weeks out. It's really hard for me by it so happens to be right about the weight that I've never been able to get lower than, so it freaks me out that 232 lbs is the lowest I'm capable of going. It makes me depressed and less active, which is what has happened every time I get to this weight.. I stop losing and then I gain it all back because of frustration

  6. Thank you guys. My periods have been very out of whack so it's possible I could be pms, plus I have been coockoo. I just don't want this to keep happening. I am right around the weight that I usually get to before I get to a plateau and never get smaller than this. I'm scared this is happening. I felt like the surgery would help me get past this weight and I'm sure it will, it's just a little nerve racking.

  7. Hey all.... just a question that perhaps some of you have been through.

Im really jittery and shakey, on the inside...

I got home from work and was fine... had a fish filet (standard portion) for dinner with a tiny bit of tartare sauce (teaspoon) and around 30 min later i am jittery and shakey... it doesn't feel like dumping, i am very hydrated. .. so I'm not sure what this could be... it has me concerned as i feel odd...

Obviously if this continues i will go to the doctor... but I'm curious to see if anyone else has had this..

If youre very dehydrated like you mentioned, that could definitely be the cause.
Thank you for replying... this was the first thing i checked.. i had gone above my daily Water requirement.. and my Protein was also good.

My body must have needed some carbs/sugars... cause ive had barely any since surgery 5 weeks ago... i had some today and it got rid of it... i guess i need to be little less strict with the carbs.. my body must need some

Stick with complex carbs, not simple carbs!

Isnt that the truth? Still want one every day at 3 years doesnt give me a lot of hope, but the fact that youre still quit is great.
