  1. I too live in Tucson and was banded by Dr. Schwartz on 2/6. Is it just me or is Dr. S always seem to be running short on time.
  2. Hi azcat, Dr. Mote Schwartz did my banding on 2/6. My experience is that he is very competent and I am happy with my decision. He does seem to be rushed whenever I've spoken with him. Thats OK with me cause I don't like doctors that talk too much unnecessarily.
  3. From what Ive seen there are a lot of different variations of the post op diet. Best to follow your doctors instructions. Right now my major issue is neck & shoulder pain, but that too shall pass.
  4. I am only day 2 post op, so Its just clear liquids for me at this point. The Doc has me adding 1-2 ounces of a protein shake every 3-4 hours and sip on 48 ounces of non-calorie fluids between protein shakes to ensure ample protein intake and to prevent dehydration starting tomorrow through my first followup appointment next Fri.
  5. Hi All, Just got banded on Wed and home form the hospital on Thur. Seem to be doing alright at this point. I am really surprised that I have no interest in food so far and have to keep reminding myself to drink enough Clear liquids.
  6. My Insurance requires an overnites stay at the hospital for the procedure.
  7. I was Banaded yesterday and just got home from the hospital this afternonn. I was realy glad to find this forum early on in my quest to be banded as I found many good answers to my questions. I even found answers to questins I hadn't thought to ask.
