28 grams of Protein in 4 oz!

I have used isoflex pre and post op and it does foam quite a bit in a blender or mixer. The mint chocolate chip is delicious too. I now just have to drink one cup a day post op so I just use a Blender Bottle and it foams much less. I do mix mine with milk which would cause more foam. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

    Any Canadians RNY

I am in eastern Manitoba and had RNY surgery through the Saskatchewan program on May 2nd. I have been trying to find a group near me however I have only had luck finding the Saskatchewan group on Facebook. Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
  4. On my plan I am allowed things like lentil Soups, refried Beans, cheese, laughing cow light, baby bel light, cottage cheese, puréed soups, runny mashed potatoes, runny cream of wheat and oatmeal. They did recommend if I have one of the last three to put some powdered milk into it so it adds a bit of Protein. Once I am able to tolerate the above items I can move on to things like scrambled or hard boiled eggs, soft fish, canned chicken or tuna, turkey or chicken ground and other things. I tried an egg yesterday and couldn't even eat half of it, it did not sit too well so just went back to the first batch of foods. I still have to have a shake everyday though to get in my required amount of protein. I am three weeks post op as well. There is another forum-sorry I don't know how to link it but it is all about the puréed stage and what everyone is eating, maybe try searching for it there will be some good ideas in there. 5. Hey another Manitoban! I actually applied to the Manitoba program when it first got introduced but my BMI was too high. I then applied in 2013 to the Saskatchewan program and just had my surgery on Monday. Long wait and maybe I should have tried to re-apply in Manitoba but I figured the wait would be longer anyway. Happy to see someone near me on this forum! Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App

    May bypass group!

Had my surgery on Monday. One incision is giving me quite a bit of pain but all other pain is just from gas, oh so much gas pain. Hoping to go home tomorrow! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    May bypass group!

I have been on a liquid only diet since Monday. For me, it isn't super great but I am not really hungry, just more so miss solid food. I will never take a chicken breast for granted again. Lol and I am dreaming about food, the other night I dreamed I kept eating food and spitting it out after I realized I am not supposed to be eating it. My pre-op is this Monday and then surgery the Monday after that, so looking forward to starting a new chapter in my life! Sent from my iPad using the BariatricPal App
