  1. There are tons of other Protein drinks and the more protein you take in, the more full you will feel. I've tried
  2. My nutritionist mentioned the constant gurgling sounds. If you think about it...when all you have going into your stomach is liquid, and it's sloshing around in there, that's probably the noises. I'm sure the sloshing is making some air bubbles, too. This too shall pass as you get to add more solidified foods into your diet. Hope this helps!
  3. I'm not a big bean fanatic, however, Bush's Baked beans have been great. I just added them into my diet within the past two days, and so far no problems. They are a great addition, full of protein and flavorful, too! My nutritionist suggested refried beans with a little non-fat sour cream and/or salsa without the chunks for a little something different. I was having a really hard time getting in enough protein before this point in the diet. Thank God I have been able to add in some "mushies"!
  4. Hi, I'm new in here. Glad to see there is an on-line support system like this one. There are so many questions I've seen posted that I've wondered or asked myself. I'm glad I'm not alone. Ok, now my question is this...How do you get that ticker thing at the bottom of your posts. I went to the site and created one, but just need to know how to attach it to the bottom of my posts. If you all could help out a newbie, I'd appreciate it very much! Deena Westfield, WI Surgery Date: October 25, 2005 highest weight-347/pre-op-321/currently-318/goal-190 or less?
  5. I agree with Rene, however, if you have more to loose...such as myself who wants to lose about 150 pounds, then I don't think even slow weight loss with a sensible exercise routine will make the skin shrink. I KNOW I'll need to have plastic surgery when all is said and done. My 3 pregnancies really did a number on my belly, so I will definately get a tummy tuck at the end of this journey. I'm going to get a breast augmentation, too. I've been jipped in that department for all my life and will fix that, too. LOL. Deena Westfield, WI Surgery Date: October 25, 2005
  6. I found that the liquid diet had the adverse affect on me. I couldn't stop! Now that I'm 2 weeks post surgery and I get to add a few more solids into my diet, I have found that things are binding up. Either call your family physician or your surgeon. They are trained professionals and won't think anything of a question of this nature. That's what we pay them the big bucks for. Good luck! Deena Westfield, WI Surgery Date: Oct. 25, 2005
