Yesterday, I finally met the nutritionist. I too have to start my clear liquid diet on today. I think this is going to be a very long weekend. But the benefit will be worth it. I am the first one of the day for the band. I have to be there around 5am. Let’s get it on! :biggrin2:

Allykat, I am right there withn you. My appointment date isn't until Monday March 3rd but my mind is playing tricks on me. One side is telling me to try and diet one mre time. I think I will be fine. Good luck on your procedure.

Congratulations on your surgery. Also, thanks for the play by play report. At times I get nerves over this whole ordeal. Keep sending your updates. For me, it helps take some of the pressure off.

Is this the only supplement(EAS) that your taking? I saw this today at Walmart but was leary of the benefits. I may purchase it tomorrow. What do you think about Slim Fast Protein shakes?

I am scheduled for my life changing surgery on March 3rd. The question that I have is, what pre-op supplements are other banders taking? Are there any over the counter medication that can help the wounds heal faster? My doctor has not given me a pre-op diet, but I have read on the this and other forums that they are on Protein shakes. What are some good Protein shake that can be brought over the counter or at GNC? I plan on starting a liquid diet this week. Thank you for your advice!!! Hello, I am having my surgery also on March 3rd. I have been waiting for about three weeks now and I got the news on today. I have a pre-op on the 28th of Feb. I also meet the dietitian on that day. The doctor said that I will be on a liquid diet for that weekend. I am ready! I hope that we can keep in touch. Good luck!
