  1. Hello! I am not having my surgery at Wilford Hall, but I am also an Air Force wife. We are stationed in Honolulu, Hawaii and I will hopefully be having my surgery at Tripler Army Medical Center. They are just starting to doing lap band there. I have just started the process and I am also wondering how long it takes, so if I hear anything I will let you know and same for you. Thanks! Gretchen

  3. Hello! I have not had the surgery yet! My first appointment is 2-14. I have Tricare for insurance and I am so excited they approved Lap-band finally. I am also on an insulin pump and hope to go off after surgery? Have you had the surgery yet? If so how were your sugars? Look forward to chatting with you!! Gretchen
