Thanks for the info, Cheri! But I met with Dr Chandler, in Decater, & I will probably have my surgery, the 1st or 2nd week in Jan. Like someone else who replied to this post, I think, Dr Miles staff was a little snippy, when I called them to inquire about the surgery. Dr Chandler's staff is wonderful!!! They'll do anything they can to help you! I live in Walker Co., so Decater, is only a little over an hours drive from here. Jason or Marcus, As I put in my original post this surgeon is in Decatur, Alabama. His name is Dr. Kenneth Chandler. :Bunny I just got off the phone with them. I ordered my info pack, with some papers to fill out, when I get that, I'll schedule my 1 on 1 consultation with the Dr., it costs $175. Seminars are optional. Then after the consultation, you schedule your surgery. Hi Stephanie! Thanks for the info! As the time to schedule my surgery got closer, my Hubby got more nervous & told me(FINALLY), that he was scared for me to have the surgery done in MX. I wish he had been up front from the beginning of our discussion! Men! The planned (but not confirmed) date for my surgery, is coming fast, and I am still full of questions. :D I reserved my surgery for 11/11/05, in Monterrey, MX, with Dr Javier de la Garza, at the OCA hospital. :)Hi all! I am a newbie to this board. But, have researched, several other sites & boards. So far, I haven't heard anything bad about Dr. de la Garza;-) , but I want to know everthything, good & bad, before, I close the deal! I am planning on going & having my surgery, Nov. 11th, of this year. Also, we have vacationed in MX, several times, but never where they have mountains, always beach towns, except Laredo.
