  1. Amazing Job! I was 302 and now I am 205 and pretty much have stalled. I've started running and working out some. How did you do it? Any problems with loose skin or anything?

  2. No, I wouldn't dare ditch my friends... there is one in that pic that I am not friends with anymore but that was due to other things. The amount of food other people eat really doesn't bother me.

  3. Thanks for the comment!

  4. Thanks for the comment! How has your journey started off?

  5. Thanks for the comment! I feel great, but even though I have lost all the weight I find myself still wanting to work on my body, which I am trying to do! how much have you lost?

  6. Thanks for the comment! Honestly, I just have been eating less because of the lap-band. I have been walking and working out some but other than that, that's it. Also, the only thing I drink is water and unsweet tea now, hardly ever anything else. I try to stay away from drink that have a lot of sugar in them. What you lost is still great, don't give up. I know I had time where I hit a patch were I didn't loose any. Hope everything goes well!

  7. Thanks, I am about 80lbs. now so I am still loosing. I would like to hit the 100lbs. mark by the one year mark. I did hit a plateau and it lasted for a couple of weeks then I started loosing again. If that happens don't worry. I've probably should exercise more than I do but I am working on that and getting better at it. I have also started working out to tone up my body, which I hope really works... haha. So can I ask how much you have lost? When where you banded? I can't take all the credit for loosing the weight.. The band helped me so much!

  8. Wow it does sounds like you have been having a lot of trouble. I don't know how other peoples experience have been with the LAP-BAND? but I can tell you from mine you shouldn't be having this much trouble. I was adjusted probably 6 times before I got to the place I needed to be and after that it has been smooth sailing, knock on wood. I know that you should not be throwing up that much, have you thought about the band itself? With all the vomiting it could have slipped and could be causing all of these problems. Even the band could have been placed wrong to start with. These are all questions and concerns that I would bring up to your doctor. Where did you have yours done at? Not to scare you but with you saying you throw up almost every time you eat and you havent lost much weight and with all the vomiting I would say there might be some complication that you are not aware of. Just to be safe I would get everything checked out and make sure everything is it tip top shape.

  9. Well I also started out at 302 so It came off of mea lot easier. Here in the the past it's been harder for me to loose but it is starting to come off again. How many times have you been adjusted? How many times to you end up throwing up your food? I do have a little trouble with broccoli but not to where I throw up. It sounds like to me that you are too tight if you are having a lot of trouble. I know for me it's just a day to day basis where I can eat something one day and the next I might have trouble with it the next. Do you also drink cokes? I know when I stopped them months before my surgery I lost 35lbs. just that way. I look at ice cream as kinda a treat so I don't try to eat it very often but I understand if you are limited in what you can eat then i don't blame you. I would talk to your doctor because if you are having a lot of trouble then I almost bet that you are too tight.

  10. Well I didn't change much.. I think most of it was my doctors getting my restriction where it needed to be.. and I naturally stay away from foods that are harder to eat.. I just don't like fooling with them. I still eat the same things give or take a couple but just a lot less of it. I also try to walk/run every now and then. If you don't mind me asking what did you start at? I also had a lot to loose too so that might have played a part.
