  1. Glad your surgery went well! Sounds like you are doing really well. I agree the constipation was the pits. Sounds like you are on the up-swing already. I wore a compression garment for a long time (6wks). Still do if I feel my lower abdomen "pulling". My scars are very small, thin, and my Dr. recommends so they wont get wider.
  2. Hope your surgery went well. I'm an older bandster(61) and am 8 wks post tt and breast reduction. I didn't bounce back immediately. Pain was controlled by taking meds regularly. I didn't feel myself(generally not well) til the 5th week (not pain, just not feeling well and tired) napped alot. I just listened to my body and at 6 wks started back at Curves and am happy to say I feel very good now, 8weeks. I say this not to concern you, but to let you know that if you don't immediately bounce back, you will in time. and are you thinking why did a 61yr old go threw this? Because I still feel young and want to look good!!
  3. it sounds like its the gas they use to inflate the belly area to put the band in. I had it. It just takes time to dissapate(sp). and can be uncomfortable. If you are constipated, you know it. You can't go!
