Carol, I know it is discouraging. I'm with you there! Seeing all the other posts who've hit 70+ makes me sick at my stomach and feel like a failure. I know I couldn't go without the band right now, that's why I'm so freaked and I know you are too!

This guy isn't the only Dr and since this isn't an emergency, if you don't like what he has to say, I'd get a second even third opinion. This is YOUR BODY you're talking about. Alot of Dr and especially their nurses are willing to discuss options with you. It may mean traveling to see a Dr but finding one you like and trust and that understands you is the most important. If this Dr isn't for banding and tries to talk you out of fixing things, I'd walk! You are living proof that it works!!! And everything has snafoos but you deal with them, learn from them and move on! You DON'T throw in the towel and give up!
