:thumbup:Well finally I'm official. It's been 6 days since my op and I'm finally getting back on track. Unfortunatly I got the worst chest infection the day I left hosp. Typical me don't do things by half, just so pleased that I chose to give up smoking last month. Otherwise the cough I'm sure would of been much worse. The op went fine and I was up the next day no worries. However felt like a whoopee cusion for the next 3 days. Very sore and tender, haven't even had a proper feel about to find my port. Although I know he's there, I have a scar to prove it. No doubt by next week I will have named him too. The "through a straw diet" is my fate now for the next four weeks. I'm not really a sweet person so finding all the custards, yoghurts, icecreams and optifast all a bit too much! But if it's what needs to be done to be healthly and not overweight so be it! Soup is my new best friend, sooooo many different types to strain I can't wait. Tonight's was chicken veg cuppa soup (strained of course). Well enough from me today just thought I'd touch base.
