  1. i was told that i could drive when i was no longer using narcotic pain medication. my first drive was 4.5 days out. it wiped me out...i was out of the house for an hour, came home and slept for 2! lol
  2. did your surgeon give you a specific amount of weight to lose? if she/he didn't, then you're probably ok. my surgeon made me sign a contract that i would lose a specific amt of weight (20 lbs...high bmi), and told me that if i didn't lose it, my surgery would be postponed. even with some cheating, i made it.
