What's the first thing you did or want to do when you lose the weight? I know for me, I haven't worn shorts in a few years, or a bathing suit so I look forward to shopping for cuter clothes!!! Since I gained weight I've hated shopping, it hasn't been fun so I look forward to shopping with my girlfriends again

I wonder why some doctots, doing the same surgery require difft pre op diet requirements. I have to do 2 weeks. Those with only 1 and 2 days, how lucky

Your right about Optifast it isn't very filling but once you get into the routine, what you thought you couldn't do, you WILL do because you have to. Their also right about the first 3 days bring the worst. I'm on Day 4 and each day it got easier. good luck

My last supper was actually breakfast with my daughter at IHOP and I thoroughly enjoyed being able to have pancakes one last time

I had a rough time on this liquid diet for the first 2 days I ended up munching on something. The 3rd day isn't so bad at all so hopefully I will have some loss by next Friday. I certainly don't want my surgery cancelled, that would suck! but I'm also nervous to get 10 pounds below my original weight in such little time but we shall see. Did anyone walk or exercise during this stage to help with the weight loss?

I finally found out and it took a little over a week to get approved

the optifast "shakes" I have are very thin, not shake like at all so yes I will have to get creative. I like the Crystal Light idea and the ice with frozen fruit
