    San Antonio anyone?

I am also from San Antonio. I had my surgery(sleeve) in 12/29. At Methodist Speciality and Transplant. I'm on a soft diet and trying new foods. Feel like I'm doing well.
  2. Hello, I'm 73, and live in San Antonio, Tx. I had my surgery on 12/29/15. Feel I 'm doing well. I was also in the hospital for two nights, but that's my surgeon's routine for all. He also sends everyone(seniors) home with home health care. I am on soft foods now, and introducing new foods according to my plan. Looking forward to having a buddy!
  3. I was sleeved on 12/29/15, and yes I'm past 70!

    Who Are You?

My name is Ann and I'm from San Antonio, Tx. I had the sleeve 12/29/15. I have lost 20 lbs. I try to not weigh to often as it will make me nuts! I am currently on the soft diet, but trying different foods within the guidelines. I seem to be tolerating foods pretty well. I love my scrambled and hard boiled eggs. Yesterday, I tried a banana and didn't do well with it at all. So those are off the list for now. I have no problem getting water down as I was at 64 oz prior to surgery. So that was a plus! The downside for me has been the constipation. I had a week of real misery. I started taking Colace stool softener and it really has helped. I can't stand the shakes, or the vitamins. Have replaced the vitamins with a O.t.c. Multi with the same vitamins as the bariatric. Plus I take 1500mg of calcium. This is quite a journey. I have both O.A., and R.A., so am looking forward to my joints feeling better. Good luck to all!
