  1. I'd like thoughts. I'm heading to the Cape at 7 1/2 weeks post op. I am dying for some fresh fish and chowder. Is this doable? How was your stamina at 8 ish weeks out? I want to swim in the ocean! I'm extremely excited for this vacation as it's been a rough two years for me but I want to be able to enjoy it. Thoughts?
  2. Last night in my dream I was eating all kinds of horrible stuff and I was still only nine days out. It was a huge relief when I woke up!
  3. Had a dream last night about eating and was freaked out in my dream. I didn't do anything about it cuz I woke up.
  4. Thanks Outside, I have done this and enjoyed it very much.
  5. They are. I hope you get an early time. Good luck!
  6. Lol! Congrats! What's the soup?
  7. So is it more like lchf? I will google it because I need to learn how to eat this way anyway. Just curious if it's similar.
  8. I started using them. No issues. 9 days out from sleeve.
  9. I bought Centrum chewable vitamins for adults (2x per day) Wellness calcium citrate liquid (2x per day) Vitamin B12 dots (sublingual 2x per day) I have the sleeve so I'm not sure what your requirements are. I've had no problems taking these daily. I can't take iron and am post menopause so no extra for me. I was told no gummies for vitamins.
  10. They gave me a list of acceptable foods and how often and much I should be eating but I didn't add up the calories. I have several follow up appointments with my NUT so I'm sure we'll discuss each phase as I get there. I'm currently getting around 500 calories and it's just not sustainable long term.
  11. I'm still in the full liquids phase but when I start eating, if I can't hit minimum calorie goals at first, I'll supplement with protein shakes etc. I truly fear screwing up my metabolism long term. Eventually eating all of our calories seems very doable.
  12. I've been told restriction wasn't felt till people eat dense foods. I too can get liquids down like it's nothing so I was a bit concerned.
  13. Good luck, it'll all be a memory soon and you'll be on your way to a healthier life!
  14. Yeti cups work great. Walmart sells a similar version (can't remember the name but the logo is mountains) that cup works just as well and less money. They both keep my drinks cold for hours!
  15. Early is so much better! I was the middle of the day and it got delayed an hour. Nerve wracking. Good luck!!
  16. Thanks! Going right now
  17. I'm confused. Have you decided to diet and not have wls?
  18. Right! I was committed but terrified of the surgery. So I felt ambivalent. I haven't experienced one second of regret (I'm sure no complications is helping).
  19. My sister is back at weight watchers years after her RNY she's gained about 50-60 lbs. She never found a healthy way to eat that she could sustain. Dumping disappeared and she was able to go back to eating chocolate and basically whatever she wanted. Portions increased. It's so clear we have to make this a permanent change ourselves. It scares me that I won't. Maybe it's good to be scared. Idk.
  20. I like unjury but it's online. You won't have it in time.
  21. I was able to forward my results of my leg ultrasound to Dr Ilian and he very responsibly said "no". Fortunately my second test was ok and insurance approved me so I got to have it at home. It was easy to share info and they were very good about having other Drs look over my report.
