I am taking my piece of responsibility. I realize I shouldn't have signed those papers. And I did a few times tell her up front hey lady I'm scared and don't want this at all. She thought I was simply joking so I just thought I would be able to back out. And your right it totally back fired and your right maybe I'll love it. I'm trying to be light and positive. My high school years I wasn't so much. But life is too short. That's why I'm writing my story here. Where no one knows me or my family and it just feels good to get out. Cause I've been sitting. Here so mad for five days. She knows how upset I am with her. I think she may finally have backed off completely as long as it means I might be able to actually get long and hang out with my mom then I can't say it's a horribly bad thing. I am 4 weeks out and what Babbs said was true for me.... I had big time regrets, and now 4 weeks out i am eating and loving i had this...

IT GETS BETTER!

I have my surgery scheduled for 1/13/16 I'm excited nervous and grateful over all. I only have to do one week pre op diet and I started that today. I went from planing on getting a balloon, to wanting the lap band, then was suggested the sleve so I just went for it. If my doctor is confident it's the best option for me I trust him completely cause I am ready to TAKE MY LIFE BACK!! I'm 21 years old. I wasn't really too heavy until a few years ago. I'm 5'2 and around 230 lbs. I used to be way smaller but hey I fell in love and my boyfriend and I found time together by eating out together. So here I am! Still in love with the same man but not so much in love with my self. Already I'm missing so much out of life. I turned 21 in July and still haven't celebrated since none of my friends recognize me from the extra weight. I've kinda been hiding away. I was recently diagnosed with pcos, have always had depression but now with horrorible anxiety. So I must say today is the day I change forever so glad I have found this forum with others going through the same thing

They will not I believe bc it is a closed group and no one on my friends list can see I'm in the group as I also am not telling anyone but a very select few.

I am scheduled for the 13th! The week is quickly approaching. I only have to do one week pre op diet. Too. Having trouble trying to put together some pureed recipes for post op

Hi there, as you know I am scheduled for the 12th and I have decided to take it one step at a time. Right now I'm in the pre-op stage and I'm just making sure that this goes well. My doctor told me post-operatively my focus will be to get my fluids in and staying hydrated. I was told that I would receive more info on the next phase at my post-op appt 1/21. If I hear of any websites with great recipes I will let you know.

Hi everyone. I was reading the blog and see that you all are being sleeved in January. There is a private group on Facebook called January 2016 sleevers from bariatric pal and it's really great. Since we're all going thru it and around the same time it has been a tremendous support. Check it out if you all want. Good luck to you all.
