SIPS / SADI-S LOOP DS SUPPORT

Hello Nicewon, I had the same fears after my surgery. I am 8 months out from my surgery date and I can tell you that you will be able to eat just about anything you had before just not as much. When I go out to eat I try to share a meal with my husband. Here lately though he has been wanting his own. LOL I tell myself I can order the full meal just ask for a to go box and I can eat the leftovers the next day. I still seem to waste the leftover meal since I only like to eat leftovers once. I can now eat a whole small size burger but I remembered when I could only eat 1/3 then 1/2. I never eat french fries anymore since I try to focus only on the burger. Combos seems like a waste of money and food now. I am a thrift shopper and always looking for the best deal. Now I just pay the price for a single food Item on the menu so I don't waste the food. I'll admit I'm not your average weight loss patient. I went out on a limb and tried some of my favorite foods and found I could still eat them but now I enjoy tasting them and not devouring them. This surgery has changed the way I look at food and I love it. I'm still loosing weight but I told myself I'm in no hurry to be a size 7. I am currently down to 205 and in a size 16 pants. I am very happy with my results and I have told God if this is as good as it gets I am happy. But the scale keeps going down. LOL

Hello Losili, Congratulations on your date!!! Since my Sips surgery in January 25, 2016 I am now down 30lbs and feeling great and with energy and no complications. Learning to eat slow and drinking and sipping on Water all day is my biggest struggle.

SIPS / SADI-S LOOP DS SUPPORT

What is wrong with me???? I go to the store and buy groceries and get things I am allowed to eat then buy too much and it goes bad and I have to throw it away. I was told I could have sugar free fudge pops and bought a box and only ate one. Same thing with sugar free Jello and so on. Just because I can have it, I buy it then don't eat it. I wanted avocados and bought 2 very large ones and by the time I decided to eat one they went bad. I hate to waste food. This is why I am the size I am so then why do I feel the need to over buy food. When I cook I do the same thing I tend to over cook the amount and my husband and I can't even eat it all. I know that my stomach is smaller and can only have a small amount but my mind has not accepted this yet. I then have regret for over buying and cooking. Crazy!!

SIPS / SADI-S LOOP DS SUPPORT

Hello Oking, I received a lot of information on youtube by watching the Sadi-s guy channel. He did a month to month review for a whole year. I decided to go with the SIPS/Sadi-s LOOP surgery because of its longer common channel for maximum absorption of Vitamins. I did not want to take an extreme amount of vitamins and I also did not want the smelly gas and poop. I work in an office and I was told that the longer common channel allows the body to work through the process of waste elimination so that I don't have this problem. I also liked the idea of just a single Anastomosis connection instead of two. The loop process made a lot of sense to me and I went for it. I could only afford this opportunity once and did not want to come back years later to find out I needed further surgery because I failed with the sleeve only surgery. So Far so good, I take Calcium, b12 and Biotin and I wear the Vitamin patch. I will go for a 6 month check up and see how by vitamin levels are and adjust it from there. I hope this helps. Blessings

Hello Linda, Thank you for your reply. I wanted to try a salad so thanks for letting me know to wait till next week. Have you tried brisket? Were you able to handle this type of meat? What kind of soups have you tried? Thanks
