Soup at 10 days post op

Puree some thinned out Chili, or Beans pureed with broth. It will be filling, on plan, and not require too much digestion from your newly stitched stomach. It doesn't have to be bland to be thin liquids. Don't trust "chewing it really good".... that is NOT full liquid, or even pureed... and not what you say your plan requires.

What can I do with...Brussels Sprouts?

Roasted high heat until the outside is crispy and the inside is creamy mush! I toss with a little olive oil and whatever seasonings grab my tastebuds that day.

    Whats your full signal?

Beware the old word "full". It is now just "satisfied", lol... or "no longer hungry". Mine is a single burp. I weighed my food since day Mushy, and sometimes before 2 oz I would do a little burp. I do it 50-75% of the time when I am done now. For me, I think the food replaces the air in my stomach and makes the burp.

    NSV for Valentine's Day

    Congrats, I Love NSVs!
  9. Deviled eggs, deli turkey breast rolled up with flavored cream cheese, shrimp cocktail, mini quiche, beef jerky... all make an easy snack or meal.

    Not hungry puréed stage

Just make sure you are getting your Protein and fluids. What and how much of purees are you trying?
  11. I had restless legs also. It lasted for about 2 weeks and then resolved itself. I did a search here when it was happening to me and found a few others that had also experienced it... it did go away for us all within a few weeks.

Valentine's Day Treat - Protein Drink

Yum! I bet a Chocolate/Cherry version would be great too.
  13. I had my period at surgery time and haven't had one since. I am 49, so I suppose it was a coincidence that I went into menopause and not surgery related. Glad to see the end of them though.

I didn't have to remove mine, but they did ask for no polish on them.

    Shirataki Noodles

I think they are disgusting. I would rather have zucchini noodles or Spaghetti Squash.

    I can EAT!

Refried beans with cheese and yogurt were heavenly!
  21. @careya123 Not thick or chalky at all. The fruity flavors are great mixed with Water. The Nectars flavors are like Jolly Ranchers or Starburst. They have 24g Protein with 100 calories and 0 sugar or carbs per serving... worth trying.
  22. I am a fan of the Syntrax Nectars. They taste more like Kool-aid than a Protein drink.
  23. I cant wait for you to have this! I know that I will want my breasts done, and pretty sure I will do the combo with the tummy tuck. I love to hear about others results!
  24. There are many revision people here. I actually did great with my band while it was working, but once it slipped and I was never able to keep a fill in it I gradually gained back every pound... I knew that I needed some help to lose and keep off the weight. I find the Sleeve to be everything I wanted, and I think you will be very happy with your decision. Search the forums and you can probably find numerous threads on recovery and results after revision! Good luck!
