OK I'll add gas x to my list of things to get...good to know! the insurance confined the receipt of my case and it's open. Waiting for a person/case manager/determinor?? to be assigned to it. I wish we could see the status online somewhere instead of hounding ppl over the phone.

Amen! Thanks for the tips! How bad was the gas? To get rid of it, is it meds, exercises, etc? I read that the gas was the most painful part after surgery. The incision pain I'm not too worried about. I have a pretty high tolerance for pain....but gas ugh, that's another animal. Do you mind if I add you? I might have to bug you and pick your brain when time comes LOL.

I have UHC. Went to the surgeon last Friday to submit to my insurance and I want to make sure they have received it. Should I call the prior authorization line, the regular number or my Bariatric nurse? All 3? LOL

Got my tentative date set for 4/20. Excited, ready to get it done and start being healthy and happy again.

Submitted my paperwork with my surgeon and it is being sent off to my insurance. They gave me a tentative date for 4/20 at 7 AM!!! Both my pre-op appt and hospital registration appointments are set too. Totally stoked and excited and nervous! Any one else having their surgery and/or tentatively scheduled your sleeve surgery for around 4/20ish? Would love to hear from ya, if so!
