Looks like I'm going to be 100% self pay. Which sucks. It's not fair since my husband and I actually work for a living we can't get Obama care and have WLS paid for. Irritates me beyond no end. Anyways... What are some positives of being self pay?
Any suggestions on new insurance companies in KY that would cover WLS?

Thanks for your help. We have decided to go to Mexico with Dr. A. It's so much cheaper there and after doing so much research and talking with the Dr. I feel 100% comfortable this is the right direction.

That's what we're doing. Dr. A? I really like him and his staff so far. I'm nervous about the surgery but not the Mexico part. I feel comfortable with it now. I've talked to so many people with such great reviews. I'd love to chat more but I hate these forum boards. Do you have FB? Is so would you want to private message me on there?

Really? One day and you are already freaked? I think you need to calm down, relax, and follow your post op instructions.
Surgery, no matter what it is, involves discomfort or even pain.
I'm sorry to be blunt, but get a grip. You will feel better soon.
