Insurance coverage in KY?

Anyone in KY area have self employed insurance meaning they have to buy it theirselves and it cover WLS?

My husband is self employed and has Anthem, it doesn't cover. I have Anthem through my work and it doesn't cover it either.

Really needing new plans!

Hi ElizabethO!

I couldn't find any insurance to cover bariatric surgery in Kentucky. It was going to cost me $14.5K to pay out of pocket here. I went down to Tijuana, Mexico to have mine on 12/7. I don't regret my decision at all! Was only $4K!!

That's what we're doing. :) Dr. A? I really like him and his staff so far. I'm nervous about the surgery but not the Mexico part. I feel comfortable with it now. I've talked to so many people with such great reviews. I'd love to chat more but I hate these forum boards. Do you have FB? Is so would you want to private message me on there?

My name is Elizabeth O'Donoghue

Sorry. I have been off of facebook for years.

I will send you a private message on here and give you my email. We can talk through there if you are okay with that. ????

Ok. I will email you sometime this weekend.

Happy New Year!!!!
