This is me to a T too.

I have an 18mo old and a 3 1/2 yr old. The 3 yr old knows that I'll be going to the dr for a few nights and daddy will be doing bath and bed time. I told her I was going to come back home and that I woukd be ok.

Taking care of myself sometimes ahead of other people for the first time in my life.
Stressing myself out over other people's actions (or lack of) only helps contribute to my stress eating (which I am getting better at not doing; old habits die slowly).
I am not talking about being self-centered or a narcissist, but I don't always have to be the one who's efforts goes well above and beyond when others are doing what is most convenient for them, don't want to inconvenience themselves, don't put in their fair effort share, or their lack of planning.

My honest advice.......do whatever you have to do to get your surgery.......get healed up.....get active walking..........then walk far away from that dude.
Leave him in your wake and focus on yourself and your daughter.
Involve the police as needed and set your course for a better situation.
What a prick !

You are in fight or flight mode. When on a airplane going down you are taught to help yourself first so that you are able to help others later! Take care of yourself first you've come this far why turn back. Rather ask your self why he's not doing the cooking & giving you the support that you deserve. Do this for you! Don't allow someone else's insecurities jeopardize your goals. Possibly a loving heart to heart convo is needed here. Set some boundaries. People get away with what we allow. Don't allow him to sabotage something that could change your life for the better. Hope this helps. Everything handled in love has a positive outcome.

From my experience they don't require a specific amount of weight to be loss, but want to see something steady to show you can follow a program of some sort.
My cousin and I both went through the process. We both had concerns about losing too much weight, but it was told to us that it's better to lose what you can in order to have a safer procedure so I would recommending asking your doctor/surgeon more questions on it.
Don't get too comfortable eating everything you want to shrink your liver and not have complications.
