Thanks! I have been eating almost 90 grams of Protein everyday. I only eat Protein and vegetables. No starchy veggies, no carbs, no sugar, no fruits. No nothing besides dense Proteins (meat and beans) and veggies (usually kale, spinach, cauliflower.)

Hi,
So sorry to be graphic but I am a bit concerned. I had my surgery on December 8th 2015. Ever since surgery, I had had Constipation issues. Now though, when I poop I start to bleed. Bright red blood and what appears to be a decent amount. Has anyone else experienced this?

Thank you all. Good news is no leak but inflamed diverculitis.....The NP called my surgeon I have to go in the office next week. I was given a prescription for pain but nothing for antibiotics. I will keep you posted on what the surgeon says next week. Have a wonderful day!

Wow you all are doing good. I think part of that occurs with Water and Fluid retention. Not only the female thing but at times my weight before sleeve would change several pounds day to day and I would be doing nothing different. I had some Water pills for my heart, can't spell diuretic, lol that would swing me silly. I have digital scales and a pee break is a pound and a half. My point don't change your plan or be discouraged! We all want the weight to fall off but I know I couldn't have done it without the sleeve. I am fortunate to watch my two sons that have had the sleeve and seen even with their half ass eating habits have each dropped well over a hundred pounds. Good luck and be proud you are trying to achieve a great purpose!

Remember stalls are normal. They happen. Sometimes we lose fast, other times slowly. I'm in week three of a stall. I'm bad and weigh myself daily, but instead of being frustrated remind myself what I have achieved as well as the fact that even though the scale might not be going down my clothes are fitting better than they have in almost twenty years.
Hang in there.

What are you doing wrong?
--not realizing that virtually everyone stalls for a few weeks starting at about 3 weeks out
--having unrealistic expectations regarding how weight loss works -- it isn't a continuous process, you will have times where you stall or even regain a little
--placing too much emphasis on the scale and letting it stress you out instead of putting the scale away and having faith that if you follow your program correctly, the weight will come off, just not at the smooth, rapid pace that you want
As long as you are sure your calorie intake has not gone bonkers (you are tracking, correct?) then put the scale away for a few weeks or more and keep going. You will get there!

I had my surgery on Tuesday, the 8th. I am still in the phase where I am very gassy and more than a bit uncomfortable. I can't get down more than 4oz of Protein Shake at a time and I am having adverse reactions to broths of all kinds. I am looking forward to my postoperative appoint on the 23rd so I can have a scrambled egg.
