Call your dr! We were taught in class that if you have a stall then to relax and know it happens!
Then:
-track your food for every meal
-track your Water every day and get the full 64 Oz in
-track your Protein
-track your exercise
Make changes to any part of the above that are not where they should be.
Then I hear everyone say to increase your exercise with something new while still doing what you were doing before.
I started kick boxing and I also walk. If I hit a stall then I plan to run my stairs and do my PiYo DVD workout.

So happy for you!! My surgery is 12/28 and I start the liquid only diet on 12/20.

My surgery was 10/26 217. Today 193. 24 lbs down in 6 weeks. Want to get to 133. I'm 5'6"

I visited one of our friends from here! She got sleeved yesterday at 130 pm mountain and is doing GREAT! No pain and walking and sitting up and chatting. She said she is just tired.
It sure made me feel better about my 12/28 surgery! The stitches were so much smaller than I thought. She got to go home today at 4 pm.

Great results! I hope you are beyond thrilled!!

There isn't a need to compare to others. I get motivated by reading how well others did. Also, knowing stalls happen has been important so I joined a kick boxing gym ahead of time.
No one in our classes talked numbers so it is a big mysterious area.
Thank you for sharing! I al trying to remember when I got over 200 lbs and I think 1996 was the year.....

I'm Having On December 8th in NYC , Im Excited & Nervous. Please Keep Me In Your Prayers

I'm picking up my daughters from college for Christmas break next week. I'll meet my youngest's boyfriend for the first time. I told her I'd take us all to lunch. She suggested I wear my new black maxi dress because I look "cute" in it.
I had such a wave of emotions after I hung up the phone. I'm so happy to share her joy, and thankful she wants me to meet her boyfriend. It's the first serious fella since her senior year in high school. It also made me think of all the years I was the frumpy mom on the sidelines, hiding from the world, avoiding social events. It had an effect on my kids. I didn't realize how much until my life changed 180 degrees and I became a part of the world.
She told me she's proud of me. We've been through a stressful year and a half after moving out of our house when I filed for divorce due to emotional abuse. Through it all, my girls are amazing and strong.
My LapBand surgery and 100-pound weight loss not only helped me reclaim my life, but improved theirs as well. They now have a mom who can hold her head up high, can walk into any room and feel equal to the people there, and will never settle for less than respectful treatment again. I'm the good example I've always wanted to be.
And their mom is "cute" to boot.

Thanks for the encouraging words and advice everyone! I am 2 days away from my surgery (Aug. 2nd) and I am SO NERVOUS! I needed to hear all of this, y'all....and shout out to LilMissDiva for such an incredible list of Do's & Don'ts!!!! I am about to make little reminders to put around the house!

I brought the sleep mask and ear plugs- and extras for my roommate and we were the envy of all the ward! Those places are crazy loud! Oh, and if you use a CPAP, buy the smaller eyemask. The foam molded ones are cumbersome with the CPAP but the fabric ones work just fine and fit better.

Hello fellow sleevers! I'm just curious how fast everyone else saw weight loss. I feel like I am losing so much so fast (not complaining!), but is there such a thing as too much too fast? I was sleeved on 9/4/15 & start weight was 270. As of this morning, I'm sitting at 202 & it's only been roughly 12 weeks. I do make sure I'm hitting my Protein goals EVERY DAY & I feel good, but it's just a whole new world of worry with weight loss lol. I'd love to hear if anyone else has had a similar experience.

My last mandatory class is 12/4. I get submitted for approval 12/6. My surgery is already scheduled for 12/28 at 7:30 am. My 7 day liquid only diet is going on over Christmas!
Am I scared? Sort of...but not terrified.
Do I wish the surgery would hurry up and get done? Oh yeah...so done with the waiting.
I will be reading as much as I can from everyone and I thank you all for your sharing. It helps so many of us!
