    Contrave

Yes this was after my sleeve. I couldn't tolerate the Contrave.

    Contrave

I lost 10lbs in one month but was nauseous and light headed. I couldn't continue with it even if I took anti nausea medicine.

    Truvision

Kathy its a weight loss solution kind of like Plexus if you have heard of that. You take a blue pill and a green pill 2 times a day.

    Truvision

I have a question, has anyone out there done Truvision after being sleeved? I'm almost 11 months post op and am trying it and i feel like my stomache is just in knots and crampy? Has anyone else who tried this post op had these side effects?

    Almost 6 months out

So on April 29th i will be 6 months out. I have lost 50lbs. as of today as i type this. I have been lucky enough to not have all the nausea, dehydration, hair loss, ect that some people are having. I also have figured out that i can eat the "forbidden" foods and not get sick. I've caught myself slipping and falling back into that trap because i have a lot of stress going on in my life right now and i'm glad i caught myself as i started to slip and am now trying to work on ways to channel my frustration into something more positive instead of the food trap. I have also noticed that i am losing inches faster than the weight but i have always been that way. I probably could be down a few more pounds had i not splurged a little but i did not gain any weight but stayed the same so now i am back on track and have started walking again and keeping myself busy and active. I see so many positives going on with so many people on here and i wish i could congratulate everyone personally but i'll give a group shout out to keep up the great work and you guys are all doing a hell of a job. To those struggling you have my support and are in my thoughts and prayers as these are hurdles and you will over come them and be successful. Lots of love
  8. I am now about 13 or 14 weeks out and have lost 43lbs. I feel like this is not good but i know everyone loses at their own pace. Is there any food out there that we can use when those salty cravings hit. I've really not had any sweet cravings which for me is a milestone in itself but am i lacking in the sodium department? What do any of you suggest for when those cravings hit?

Awesome progress!! As others have said, watch the slippery slopes. Don't start letting old, bad habits back in. Once that train gets started, it is hard to get it stopped again.

  9. Hello friend i myself was sleeved in October on the 29th. You have been through so much at your young age. It looks to me like you are doing well in the weight loss department as i have only lost 30lbs and you have far surpassed me. My problem is grazing. I'm terrible about it. I could not imagine how you feel but keep your head up. I would ask why you can only eat 4 bites of something and feel sick tho. I know i'm bad about guessing my portion size. i just can't seem to get that 1/4 - 1/3 cup thing totally down then i think i over eat a smidgen. If you need someone to talk to you can always private message me because it sounds like that's what you need. I'm glad to see another October sleever out there. good luck with your journey and hoping for positive things to come your way

    6 Weeks Post-Op

I am down 30lbs from my starting weight. I set a goal for 20lbs by Feb. 2nd when i go back to the doctor. Starting to exercise more and i think it's starting to pay off. Can tell it had been awhile since i did that lol. Hope everyone is doing great. I'm still working on my portion sizes but i'll get there as well. Have a great day everyone.

    5 Weeks Post Op

Hello everyone i'm new to the site. I had my sleeve done on October 29, 2015. I've lost 25lbs so far. I was wondering if this is normal for everyone at about this stage? I really am struggling with water intake and getting all my exercise in. I love to go walking but it's getting cold around here which doesn't bother me but i have kids who like to go with me and don't want them getting sick. What are some suggestions you may have. I also have a treadmill and treadclimber but it gets boring on those.
