    Feeling sad and cold

How is your nutritional state? Are your eating regularly, staying hydrated, taking your vitamins? If yes then it's possible that your lack of activity and freedom is depressing you. I know I get super depressed when I feel trapped and tied down. Especially when it's out of my control like now. I am two days post op and already the walls are closing in. I try to get out and walk, weather permitting. I entertain myself with video games and RedBox movies. Make sure you talk to your doctor about your depression. Don't let it take hold of you. You have already overcome so much so you know that you are a strong person. ???????????? Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Tapatalk

    Hello

My name is Kenneth and I am currently 3 days post op after a Lap-RNY. My preoperative weight was 298 and now I sit at 293. I'm sure it's mostly water weight. I have had no issues so far and overall feel pretty good for 3 days postoperative. The majority of the pain I am feeling is from the remaining pockets of gas from insuflation but it's not completely unbearable. I'm supposed to start puree foods today but I am hesitant. The thought of puree food makes me ill. I almost want to just stick to protein shakes, jello, broth, and popsicles until I can eat solid foods. The only craving I have so far is coffee. I miss it so much. Lol. That's about it for now. I look forward to reading and learning from this forum. ????
