    I have high BP, have for over a year now and have higher than 40 BMI... I live in Texas and have Aetna HMO... will I still need to do the 6 months supervised diet? What exactly is that all about anyway? What kind of "diet" do they want you to do?

  2. Aetna HMO or Cigna Premier (w/HSA)? URGENT!!!

    I started a new job yesterday and the 2 insurances I have to choose from are Cigna Premier (w/HSA) and Aetna HMO. I have contacted both of them today and both say they will approve Lapband for medical necessity and after I have been under a doctor's care (diet) for 6 months. What is the opinion on either company?
