Hello! I am Carolyn...
I have been pondering WLS off and on for about a year now. At this point I am moving forward cautiously, my insurance company claims they do not know what my benefits will be (if any) come January 1. So, for now I am starting to jump through hoops and we will see what happens come the first of the year. If I wait for everything to line up perfectly it will never happen for sure.
This summer I went to a intro meeting, and finally had first appt with my Dr early October. Will have my 2nd, as well as psych eval in about a week. Dr says Gastric Sleeve is the best option for me.
Last night I ordered a couple different protein drinks/powders to try out. Also found a link to this site in the notebook from my Dr. So here I go! 
Hubby and I have been married nearly 30 years and I am a (homeschooling) mama to 8 (Ages  28-6, 3 are married, 1 in college, 4 still in school at home) & grammie to 7 going on 8 - I have a lot of little people to keep up with! :)
