    Fun thread !

    - Enjoy playing with my littles (my youngest are 6 and 9 ) - Enjoy watching my grands grow up (ages 3 1/2 down to due in March!) - Weighing less than my hubby, I have weighed more than him since sometime in my first pregnancy, my oldest will be 29 in Feb :/ - Shopping for normal clothes - Being able to shop at 2nd hand stores (who are those people that wear the plus size stuff that hits the 2nd hand stores?!) and maybe swap clothes with my older daughters/others - Stop wondering if I am the largest in a room - Go on rides with kids without thinking about if I will fit - Learn to Kayak with my husband - Feel healthier
  2. No, December won't happen, my Dr (and current insurance plan) require 6 mos. Yes, my husband has filled out his open enrollment for next year. Just got papers, and bariatric is not on the exclusions list. That is the most I know. Planning to call next week and ask. Hubby has been very sick with something unknown for over 2 mos... it has kind of distracted me from my own health journey. He seems to be getting better (VERY slowly) so I should have some brain space for my own issues. Thanks for the replies!
  3. Hello! I'm new here. Have done some lurking, so much here to read, a bit overwhelming! Tentatively started this process this summer, got yanked around by insurance company, finally officially started the process in Sept, but do not know if my insurance will cover WLS come January. Ugh! Hard to get to excited about the idea when it might all come to an end in month 4 - but figured I might as well start jumping through the hoops in case they do still cover come 2016. I know if it is meant to be... it will all work out one way or another. BUT I hate unknowns! Just wanted to vent somewhere. Trying not to think about it all too much. So hard to do!

To tell or not to tell...

Hello! New here... Just dipping my toes into this journey. Not sure what my insurance will cover come Jan. 1 - so... For me I have told a few people. My sisters and 1 SIL (best friend), my hubby also knows. That is all for now. If come Jan I know it will if WLS is going to happen, I will tell a couple/few others. But do not plan to tell the world. (No FB announcements) After the fact, I will just play it by ear. Not sure what to do about parents. I know my mom is against WLS, but I suspect if I just flat out told her it was what I wanted/was doing she would then be supportive. Guess I will play that one by ear as well. (she will be hurt if I don't tell her... darned if I do, darned if I don't)
