I loathe Halloween.... always have - even as a kid! Buuuuuutttt it was probably due to my size and always feeling uncomfortable in any costume.

This year we are actually THROWING A HALLOWEEN PARTY!
It was even my idea!
Me! Mine! I haven't decided what I'm going to dress up as yet but the fact that I am even thinking of doing anything other than my usual (which is nothing) is a huge deal for me

One year ago I made the decision to save my life. I believe I may have done that
It's been a quick and a much successful year - in my opinion HAHA
Surgery date Sept 21 2015
Starting weight 273.4
Current weight 157.0 (I was down to 153.6 a couple of weeks ago but must've been eating too much salt lately; hence the slight increase LOL)
Goal weight 150 - which I will succeed here shortly!

This is a very good video that shows what happens when you drink liquids after eating. Our new pouches let liquids push food through our stomachs. This can leave us feeling unsatisfied. It is very important to time food and liquids even after you reach goal weight. We are far smarter than our pouches so we will always need to wait after meals before drinking anything.
Simply timing our fluids can help us all maintain our weight loss.
