I had a missed miscarriage at 9 weeks. I too used fertility meds to get pregnant with my last child 10 years before. We tried for a few years later but never got pregnant. We never used any form of birth control all those years so I thought we were done having children. Then two cycles later after my 41st bday to our surprise I was pregnant again five months post surgery! I now believe my infertility was due to being overweight. During the pregnancy I gained only 7 lbs and I delivered a healthy 8#10 baby boy in October!

Congratulations! My appointment isn't until November 9. I think after I see heartbeat everything will seem more real.

I'm so excited for all of us! What supplements are YAll on? I don't see my dr til november 9, but I'm just on regular gel pnv and some extra folic acid per my ob orders. I'm still losing weight. She said when she sees me she will get me to a mfm and nutritionist. She said to just try and graze healthy food. That I shouldn't worry about the weight loss cause it is to be expected and the baby will take what it needs from me.

I am only 2 months out and I just found out I'm pregnant at 40 after having unprotected sex only once! Definitely a surprise but a welcomed surprise. My last child is 9 and was conceived with fertility meds. We tried for a fourth child about five years ago but never got pregnant.

I'm 2 months out and just found out I'm pregnant at 40 years old. My last child was 9 years ago and I took fertility meds to get pregnant. We tried for a fourth child five years ago but it wasn't meant to be. We weren't planning on any more and was pretty sure we couldn't get pregnant considering my history. My husband and I only had unprotected sex once so yeah it does give you a boost to your fertility. To say the least this is a definite surprise but is also very welcome as a baby is a blessing.
