  1. Thanks guyys! Think I will stick to porridge and mash! Just scared that my diet might end up being carb heavy in those two weeks. So i will keep up with the soups I have been eating alread.
  2. @@enjoythetime thank you for the encouragement! I am going to ask the local cafe if they will warm up my food for me, I was a Very loyal customer prior to the band. With heating facilities available what would you recommend? Is a baked potato to solid?

    21 and just got banded!

I am not losing the initial weight people lose post op and it is making me a bit anxious whether this is working or not. I have my first fill early November, how did you feel after your first fill? And has the band affected your social life?

    21 and just got banded!

I know no one as posted in here for a while but I am 24 and am two weeks post op. How is everyone coping with their band ?
  5. My two weeks of liquid are nearly done, Saturday being my first day of puréed food ???????? But I really have no idea what to eat! I work Monday to Friday and have no heating up facility at my workplace. I have been taking shakes and buying Soups from a local food shop. What did you eat during this stage? All I can think of is sweet potato mash, avocado and baby food! But I can't eat that for two weeks. Is tuna ok?

    1 week post op

@@Bandista thank you! It's so good to know I'm not the only anxious one. Picking the goal weight is mind boggling, I chose something in the middle of my "healthy" bmi but I feel like it is too light as well, I definitely will be paying attention to my clothing sizes instead.

    1 week post op

I am one week post-op and people are already asking me how much weight I have lost so far It is so anoying as they claim to see weight loss already and this is impossible as I have hardly lost anything (more than i have in years though and i am grateful) . I feel like I am under a microscope and everyone is watching me, I hate the pressure. I just finished doing my tickers and it has just dawned on me how long of a process this is, I really just wanted to be healthier but having to select a goal weight... its all filling me with anxiety really. did anyone else feel like this?
