    October 12th surgery

I'm scheduled for the 12th and on a moderated liquid diet. I'm okay with the occasional hunger pains but I miss my energy. What kinda shakes are you using?
  4. I travelled with an ex this year that was around 6' and 400lbs. As soon as we got seated he asked for the extender and it fit him fine. Just try to avoid the middle seat and ask to swap if you get it.

    Pre Op Blues

I'm from Maryland . My surgeon gave me a target of 800 - 1000 calories a day with a daily meal plan consisting of a shake for breakfast, a snack, a shake for lunch, another snack, and then 300 calorie or less dinner. I work in an office setting so I'm used to snacking all day but I substituted water for other snacks. I've been on this diet since Sunday and I've stayed close to or under 1000 calories each day.

    Pre Op Blues

My surgery date is scheduled for the 12th of October so I started my diet on Sunday. My concern is cheating. Today I stayed within the 1000 calorie limit but I substituted a shake for a salad. I feel so bad about it. Any advice or insight on how to stick to my shakes? It's the after taste that's getting to me.

To Tell or Not To Tell?

I've decided not to tell anyone but close friends and family members as well. Luckily I've had stomach issues in the past that I can use to justify the weight loss. I don't feel like hearing anyone's thoughts or opinions about what I choose to do to lose weight.

    Turning point

My turning point was when I was out of breath from running up stairs :-(. My highest weight was 317lbs I'm currently at 297lbs. I go in for my sleeve on October 12th.

    Anthem denied

That's odd. Anthem BCBS approved me with 1 year supervised dietician visits and my psych evaluation.
