My surgeon said yes but did not know how much is too much. He said problems and liver and kidneys can happen with too much Protein.

Tssiemer1 reacted to BLERDgirl in Stretch mark cream
Does not exist. Everyone gets stretch marks, even skinny folks. Keeping your skin well moisturized may lessen the overall appearance, but if you are one of those people who gets them, please realize part of it is genetics.

I use Palmer's Cocoa Butter and Cocoa Oil because it smells good and feels good to generally care for my skin. It has Vitamin E. Staying hydrated is really important, too.

Maybe half the meat and half ground veg or mushrooms with the same seasonings. Like OP's recipe, you can just adapt it to suit your needs.

Tssiemer1 got a reaction from ProudGrammy in Food funerals
This will be the first thanksgiving without grandpa who pretty much raised me. I don't know what I'm going to do this year. My surgery is tentatively scheduled for that week and I wonder what my family will say about it. Knowing he'd say to just screw them all and focus on me.

Anyone else missing warm, ooey, gooey, cheesy pizza like me? Well you no longer have to suffer because there are alternatives to doughy crusted pizzas which we've all said goodbye to, or at least I have! You can make a delicious Pizza Crust from ground chicken breast. Who would've thought?! I put all the ingredients into MyFitnessPal and let it do the calculations for me. It tastes absolutely delicious! I'm sure you'll agree that at less than 250 calories and a whopping 31 grams of Protein, this pizza will be in your wheelhouse of recipes
Ingredients
One pound ground (raw) chicken breast ¼ cup grated Parmesan ¼ cup Reduced fat 4 cheese Italian shredded cheese – ¼ cup shredded cheese is 1 oz. by weight ½ teaspoon garlic powder ½ tsp salt ¼ tsp black or cayenne pepper (I used cayenne) Tools
Mixing bowl (stand mixer - easiest combing method) Baking sheet, pizza pan or pizza stone (crispiest crust) Parchment paper Wax paper Rolling pin Pam or any vegetable non-stick cooking spray Instructions
Place pizza stone in oven, if you’re going to use one (my preference), and preheat oven to 450°F. In a medium bowl combine all of the above ingredients. Place a wet paper towel on a flat surface then place your parchment paper on it. Spray it with Pam and then put your chicken mixture on top. Chicken mixture makes 6 – 3 oz. portions, so 6 individual crusts (approx. 6"x4"). Lightly spray a sheet of wax paper with non-stick cooking spray (makes for easy removal). Place wax paper, sprayed side down and evenly press using a rolling pin to get it as thin as you’d like. Remove the wax paper and place parchment paper on pan or pre-heated pizza stone and bake until golden brown, 12 to 15 minutes (depending on thickness). My individual (very thin) crusts baked on pizza stone in just 12 minutes! Put the crust between two paper towels and pat to absorb any grease. It is chicken after all. Then place it on a new sheet of parchment before topping it. Top baked crust with sauce, cheese and healthy toppings. Place back in oven and cook until melted and bubbly 5 to 10 minutes. Remove from oven and enjoy! Crust:

I am almost 6 weeks post op and went to the movies on Thursday.
I took one of my Premier Protein Peanut Butter crunch bars and cut it up into small bite sized squares and put it in a baggy.
It gave me something to munch on.
I thought it was quite genius. Lol

@@Tssiemer1 Good lord girl calm down! Are you doing something right now?! just reading that makes me want to peep out my window blinds in a conspicuous manner! The paranoia is Real!! I don't care if you smoke or not. In fact my brother grows marijuana for a living (Colorado) anywho tell them you ate some KIND bars. They have hemp seed in them. Military personnel aren't allowed to eat them because they will cause a positive drug test. I'm not telling you to lie I'm just saying hey did you eat any kind bars lately? Oh you did? Ok, well relate that. If you are however smoking pot then cut that sh*t out . You're going to be pretty miserable after surgery when you can't eat.
