  1. I had mine inserted earlier this year. It was uncomfortable to insert, but not horrible. Not going to lie I was ready to have it removed until about the 3rd mo because of breakthrough bleeding and spotting. Seemed like every time I tried to have sex those few mos I would bleed, but now no issues. My period is lighter, but does seem to last a lil longer than normal before.
  2. I'm 5 weeks out and I still can't tolerate cold water on my stomach. Bump up your stool softeners! When I noticed I went a day without I would bump from 2 a day to 3 until I was able to go. Trust me you don't want to wait longer than two days to go. I was habitually constipated before surgery. Now so long as I stick to my 2 a day I'm usually ok.
  3. Love the recipes and new ideas. Thank you for sharing! Keepem coming

  8. Where do you get your unflavored protein? They had it in the hospital and I liked mixing I into my crystal light, but can't find it.
  9. I overdid it one day and was in tears. The muscle was trembling. That was also the day I felt a few pops. A few days off rest later I was good as new. The office said it was most l likely where they cut into the muscle for that main port. I think I popped af few stiches that were bothering it and it felt better.

  11. I was in the hospital for two days sms off work for a total of 10. I work in am office and had the option of working from home for a week. I only missed 6 actual work days
  12. Your body absorbs it. Gas X will only work for gas that's in your gut. It does help after surgery, as everything made me bloated right after surgery. For the other gas, get moving! It really does help!
  13. Have you tried the peanut butter powder? I'm going to try it to make smoothies with greek yogurt. Just thinking about drinking another protein drink makes me want to gag LOL. I found out string cheese has 9g of protein yea me

  17. Sounds like your hormones may be getting back into their usual grove for the first time in who knows how long. I started my period for the second time this mo 5 days after surgery, so I know my hormones are going screwy.
  18. I tried to beg my way our the day after lol. I'm glad I stayed the extra night and was able to soak up the hospital meds before coming and taking how fine I wad with out them lol

  20. Ok well I'm wondering if my doc has me eating too quickly. My surgery was on 9/10I was on pureed food for 1 week. This week is my 2nd and I'm on soft foods. Pretty much anything but fruits, veggies, and fatty. I've eaten eggs, chili, chicken, tuna, cheese. I've even had two chips chewed really well.
  21. I had surgery on 9/10 and this was actually all I could think before going in. My entire life as I had ever known it was going to change forever! I was never anything but fat all my life! I never had that o I was so thin in high school story lol. I was scared of finally being able to lose the weight, but also how I would handle my new life without the food that I so obviously needed to get through each day. I wondered how "normal" people handle stress, if not with food. I'm also a very confident fatty, but not so sure how I'm going to like my new smaller saggy me I'm ok so far, haven't died from lack of potato chips (even if I do miss them). I'm happy with my decision because I did it for heath reasons and I'm already becoming a healthier me
