  1. I drink mixed drinks. Fruity sweet drinks make me sick now (used to LOVE Maibu and pineapple juice). I drink a short whiskey sour or margarita (just tequila, lime juice and a little sweet and sour) and I do well. I get a quick buzz that goes away in a couple hours. I kinda like it this way. I don't even finish a short drink anyway. I always count the calories and carbs and I make sure I've met all my other goals and make sure I've eaten sufficiently. Oh and I've only had 2 drinks since being cleared at 3 months.

    Shots?

    I did not.
  3. Oh and a food processor to puree things.
  4. I spend a lot less on food now but right after surgery and for the preop diet the shakes got expensive but it probably averages out.

    Arbonne Fizz Sticks

Any "fizziness" hurts me. Alkaseltzer plus hurts me now.

    Deal breaker.

I never had to give up coffee.

    Does anyone regret their surgery?

Well. I think I finally no longer regret my surgery!!

    Does anyone regret their surgery?

In America, legal action would get you what you want. Don't know about NHS in England. I tend to expect the worse from the government...Now that I have Clostridium Difficile, and may have infected my family, I am re thinking my stance regarding legal action. If this drags on for months or if I wind up with even more serious problems such as bowel surgery, I may have no choice but to look into this. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App Omg I had c diff for 3 weeks. Finally tested negative today!!
  9. I was on my period day of surgery. They did not let me wear a pad or tampon. No panties either. They said they would put down some chucks.

I'm 12 weeks this week. Losing a lot of hair! Been sick with c diff for 2 weeks. I've lost almost 70 lbs.

    Does anyone regret their surgery?

I have spoken with my surgeon and his PA about it. I see my psychiatrist tomorrow. The PA said what I'm feeling is normal (he also said the diarrhea was normal but that turned out to be C diff). The surgeon wants me to eat 1000 calories a day and eat 2-3 ounces every two hours. I told him when I force myself to eat I throw up. I had a bit of an appetite at the hospital and ate 3 meals there (over 4 days). Since I've been out (2 days) I've had 1 ounce of jerky, 1 tbsp of peanut butter and celery and an ounce of tilapia. Which is more than the 2 weeks I was sick with C diff.

    Does anyone regret their surgery?

I was in the hospital most of last week for C Diff. I was able to finally tell my husband my regrets. I didn't tell anyone for fear of their reaction ("I told you so" "that was a lot of money wasted" "you chose it".) I am sick when my sleeve is empty or has food in it. I prefer it to be empty so I hardly eat. It's easier. Eating is a chore and being with others when they eat makes me sick too. It's come between me and a lot of people including my husband.

I regret it. I'm sicker now than I ever was obese.

What did you just call me?

Tiny tot. Lol. It was a guy at work who hadn't seen me in 6 months. I was down 50lbs at that point. No one really noticed until then.
  15. I was diagnosed in November and didn't get my machine until March. Had surgery in May.
