  1. Hey everyone! Spent most of the past two hours going through this thread. My surgery is scheduled for the 28th of September. The hospital I am having my surgery at requires that I get a medical clearance within two weeks of my surgery so I am getting that done tomorrow. I am so nervous. Started my pre op diet. It has been hard but I know it will be worth it. How is everyone feeling in regards to nerves? My surgeon is amazing. He has amazing reviews and most of the teachers I work with/have worked with and other school employees got the surgery done with him and all have great things to say. I called the nurse because I was thinking about backing out and was nervous about dying and she laughed at me. Although that should have pissed me off it actually calmed my anxiety. If that Facebook group is still available I would love to join. Because of my weight I am tremendously shy and don't really talk to many adults. It would be nice to just have other people to talk with.
