Still in the that first week after surgery here.
I have had 3 incidents where I've had hiccups.
Each time was when I was drinking Water and each time just was 2-3. Thankfully they weren't really deep....just 2-3 shallow hiccups and they went away.
Weird because I can't remember the last time I've had hiccups prior to this.

My surgery is tomorrow as well! At first it was scheduled for 2:30pm and then they moved it up to 9:30am!! YIKES! I immediately felt butterflies in my stomach. Not scared at all but just ready to get it over with. I'm making Jello in ice cubes now for when I get home. At least I'll have something to look forward to. Good luck to everyone having surgery tomorrow! We are on our way!!???????????? -

I feel fine. Just sore around my incisions. I have not tried to walk a mile outside in 100 degree weather, so I have just stayed home and rested. Today I drove for the first time and felt ok with the seatbelt on.

My surgery is at 2:00 nervous as all get out... I have the lap band for 13 years now but for some reason this surgery has me spooked

Worked a long shift yesterday and stayed over to nail down a few things. It was my last workday prior to the surgery.
Made a quick pitstop in the restroom on the walk out. Glanced in the mirror while washing hands and it hit me.......this is the last time you'll be here at this weight. Everything is about to change.
It also registered that I was wearing a cotton polo work shirt with the company's logo. It was a 5XLT. I plan on returning to work wearing newer, smaller shirts as I'm guessing I'll be out 3-4 weeks due to related hernia repairs.
The old shirt went into the trash.
Awesome feeling.
I walked out of there feeling like I was heading towards a great place. Even had less limp, maybe even a bit of swagger in my step.
Old Sasquatch exited the job. Slim Shady will be returning.
Looking for the lean living ahead.

Grind it out the best you can.
Crystal Light can be your friend........there are many flavors.
Water, sugar free Jello and some sugar free popsicles are nice aids.

You can do it ! Stay strong . I know it's easier said then done but I just did my two weeks at the end it is all worth it !!!
