That liquid diet is TOUGH! Tuesday is so very close. You can do this!!! Post notes all over your house or have a loved one do it - my sister came to my house while I was at work one day and I found notes everywhere saying - almost there, you can do this, you are a rockstar, etc. It was such an awesome thing for her to do for me and it gave me great encouragement in those last few days when I wasn't sure I would survive those liquids. Hang in there!!!

YES IT IS! How long have you both been on liquids? Is it only Clear Liquids or can you have Protein shakes too?

I'm only on clear liquids. This is day 2 of 3, well actually 4. My surgery is Monday. You can't eat or drink anything the day of.

Hand in there! We can do it. It's definitely worth it. That's what I keep telling myself. I was texting a friend, I told her I was damn near chanting to myself, LOL! ????

My surgery is Monday

Surgery is Tuesday as well.

Gonna stick with it and it'll pass soon.

The last 3 days of the liquid diet, all clear fluids for me, and the first week post-op were pretty darn rough. After that things got back to normal relatively quickly and progressed just like my doctor told me it would. Just hang in there and know we all had to go through the same uncomfortable process in order to achieve the results!

Hang in there the liquid diet or low carb pre op is to shrink the liver and make surgery easier keep that thought it's about your health. Surgery day will be here soon : )

How many calories does the liquid diet add upto on those days? Even tho the liquid diet is over taxing on the body and mentally, is anybody working out too or is that not advised?

Diet is for sure hard. I'll admit I haven't been perfect on it but I've done pretty well in my eyes. Guess we will see on Tuesday. Good luck to
