  4. So much harder now at 10 months post op. I was sleeved on August 27. Wanted to get below 200 for surgiversary. I was at 209, due to carbs this week that was supposed to help my constipation, I'm back up to 215???? Not happy about it, so I'm thinking I need a couple days of nothing but Water and my Protein. Ughh this journey has been rough Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  5. 215 WTH??? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  6. I'm where you began. How long and how many # to get where you are now? Just curious. Working beyond grief for a better life! I am almost 10 months out and have lost 138ish pounds. It goes up and down by a few pounds. I am now weighing 209lbs Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  7. My 1yr goal has changed from 180 to 170. I'd be happy at 180 though. I also feel like I need to be as far away from 200 as possible, and maybe a little wiggle room so that I can gain 5 pounds and not feel like I'm soo close to being at 200 again! This is definitely a mind over matter situation because at this point, weight loss is pure will power. At least for me. I know carbs and sweet stuff don't bother me, but I also know that carbs kill my weight loss. That being said, I feel like a "normal" woman. I can shop with my friends at the same stores, wear pretty clothes and feel beautiful for my husband. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  8. glad you guys are around. I was getting lonely. I've lost 138lbs and still want to lose another 30-40lbs. My weight loss is averaging about 5lbs a month. Please share your experiences. Ive been letting some carbs back in as of late, I can give you a thousand excuses, but I won't, not a lot, but I will have some crackers every couple of days or so. I had some Kellogs Breakfast Cereal just the other day... I've honestly been trying to lube up my insides, been kinda hard in that department for me (literally) please share.. 14. I agree with @@Daisee68 1000% , I could go right now and eat around my sleeve at only 9 months out. I have no foods that make me dump. And actually the carby foods are the easiest to overeat, they turn into nearly nothing in our tummies. What stops me though, is the fact that I fought so goddamn hard for this surgery to happen... that I'll be damned if I let a frickin potato chip make me miserable again. No matter how crunchy, salty and delicious I may remember it. I get cravings because I too have a hubby and kids that don't follow MY diet, but I take that new found will and have made some pretty ingenious alternatives to the good ole comfort foods. If you need ideas or recipes look it up or message me!!! Good luck mama, you got this!!! Here's to better knees!!! 19. I have the same feelings, I still feel just as fat as I was before. I know I am now a size 12 compared to a 30/32, I know I am thinner, but I certainly don't feel it. and I still get the "don't stop losing weight, keep it up" and wow you look great, are you gonna have plastics?? I realize it may not be said with malicious intent but it honestly makes me feel as if I'm not good enough yet! Guess it's therapy time!!!
  20. I'm 9 months out, and have also slowed down a lot. Please keep us posted @@LaffeyTaffey
  21. down 137lbs in 9 months. Weight loss is sooooo much slower now, but grateful that it's still going in the right direction!
