  1. Propel strawberry Kiwi is yummy Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  2. I don't have an answer for you unfortunately, my surgery was 5/3 and I have the same issue Maybe eating too fast? That's definitely my problem... I'm supposed to only eat one bite every couple minutes and that's so hard to do. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Mixing protein powder

My grocery store carries a lactose free skim milk, that's what I use It also has 12g Protein per cup, so helps with my protein goals too! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  4. My doc told me to increase Protein, not decrease. So weird! He also said if you're in a stall, to up the calories for 2-3 days, then drop back down, that should get things moving again. Plus exercise is important, maybe switch up your routine? Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Gallbladder

Agree with SGC, I also lost a lot of weight on a previous diet (and then immediately got pregnant), and those two things killed my gallbladder. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Stevia Sweet Leaf brand is great, and comes in many favors Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  8. Yes and yes It took a full 5 weeks for that incision to stop hurting for me. The gas lasted about 2 weeks. You'll get there, you're in the hard part right now. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    What should I be feeling?

Yes it's normal, I'm about six weeks out and it's still rumbly I think some of it is the extra stomach acid and the rest is your tummy still healing and figuring things out. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    1 Month Check Up

Apparently there's a dreaded third week stall that happens to a lot of folks. You'll start to lose again soon, just stick to the plan Also I heard that many don't lose a ton of weight the first month because their body is still in shock/ healing. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    How did you lose weight?

None of us lose at a constant or steady rate. We all experience stalls and slow downs. We all stall and most of us experience our first stall about three weeks post-op. Stalls are a normal, natural, and necessary part of the process of losing weight. Embrace the Stall http://BariatricPal.com/index.php?/topic/351046-Embrace-the-Stall Yeah I know. Mine just hit earlier than I expected. I've since started losing again, all is well.
  12. I took 3 weeks and needed it, the first two weeks physically (tiredness/sleeping a lot) and mentally (2nd-3rd week emotional wreck LOL).
  13. I'm not supposed to have them, pretty much forever the doc says. I'm only 16 days post-op, but I have ZERO desire for anything carbonated at this point, the thought of it makes me nauseous.

    How did you lose weight?

I lost the same as you until day 10. It is now day 16 and I haven't lost anything since the 10th, despite following my doctor's nutrition plan to the T. It will be fits and starts. Good luck to you!
  15. I am 100% with you, the full fat seem more like REAL food to me. You don't need to eat as much and get better nutrients Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
