5 months and 2 days 200lbs. Surgery date 298lbs.

I didn't get the full feeling until I got to the soft stage. I don't get physical hunger but sure do get head hunger. Not having foods I can't have in the house helps.

Cool. I'm starting puree tomorrow. 2oz meal as well. 3 times a day n 2 Snacks. Can't wait too

Oh my, I'm glad everything is ok now. Some tough lesson are made for hard head. But dam. That's scary, I hope everything will go smoothly for u now. Welcome to the club. :-)

Ahh no one told me that. I mean I know I'll grow over the staple, but no explain the process or how I may feel. The main incision pain is basicly gone but stomach gad kicked up hurting. The pain is better today tho. The last few days I've notice my bp is good but my pulse has been hanging around 90-99pm vs 76-82pm even in the hospital. It's acid. What's your antacid med and dose? You may need to take more for awhile or switch to a different one. I was on 40mg omeprazole daily for two months. But even at that dose it would sometimes flair up. Rolaids or Maalox were a quick fix when it did. After 2-3 months I no longer needed any PPIs. Now, when I occasionally get gastritis or a bit of acid I take an H2 blocker like famotidine or ranitidine or even just a couple Rolaids. They are faster acting than the PPIs and I only have to take them for a day or two.

Heya tomorrow the big day. Good luck take easy. Walk, sip on day 2, burp n fart if possible. Don't panic when u feel crappy, loopy n sore it's apart of it n normal. Listen when u need to rest but push yourself to walk. Keep us posted when u can. But, like me at times I just didnt feel like posting until I could. Oh don't be afraid to speak up about a concern. That's what doc n nurse r there for.

Meatloaf and mashed potatoes

Sweet potato pear and broccoli. It sounds gross but oh so yummy. Steam until soft and puree.

Two Trader Joe's turkey meatballs (no breadcrumbs!) With a scoop of ricotta and marinara. Delish!
