  2. Go For It. I Had A Bmi Of 34.5 And High Blood Pressure, Aching Joints, And Elevated Cholesterol. Jumped Thru All The Hoops And Was Approved In 1 Week By Bcbs (nevada). Let Them Tell You No, Don't Cut Yourself Short. I Am 44 Treid It All, Able To Lose Weight Just Can't Keep It Off. I Am Scheduled For Surgery 3/5 And I Am Never Gonna Look Back!!! Go Forth And Be Happy And Healthy!!girlie
  3. For those with BCBS, I am in Nevada. My refferral packet was sent to BCBS on 1/24 and I received my approval 1/31. I was 35.4 BMI so I was really sweating it. Now my surgery is scheduled for March 5th and I am one lucky girl!!. Make sure yoru case manager has their **Schtuff** together. Best wishes. girlie
  4. Hi everyone, I am new here and am proceeding with the process for approval from my health insurance. I am at BMI 34 and typically the minimum is 35. I have been told that Anthem (ins) has approved BMI at 34...........I don't think the doctor would encourage pursuing if he didn't feel it would be approved. (?) Anyone have any related experieonce? thank youG
