  4. @@UpandAtom I'm not sure, I have to keep my insurance for my kids as well so I'm looking at $468 +$385 through insurance exchange. I still haven't heard from the surgical office that plan I mentioned above is a HSA, I'm afraid to ask as well. All my preoperative appointment are done as of today

Very quick procedure don't remember anything. Prep ekg leads blood pressure and oxygen not sure if that's normal or because I have asthma and snore at night. Don't remember falling asleep but when I woke up my daughter was in the room with me 20 minutes later. When they say make sure you have a driver, that's what's needed. Those med have me sleepy. Anyone use 2 health care plans?

Are you covered under a spouse's insurance?. I have a family plan with my employer includes myself and 3 children. I'm so frustrated with all of this.

    So frustrated

Yes I had to start over as well. They have to include specifics and my visits left of some info. I'm now 3/6. Timewill fly by. It could be worst like my employer being bought out by another company only to find out in 2016 bariatric surgery is excluded ????...I'm just pushing forward with my appt and all I have left is nutrition consult. I scheduled all my appts while in the office....good luck to you!!
  10. While I'm waiting on the insurance coordinator to give me a call from the surgery center...thought I'll get some input here. All my testing is complete except 3/6 month supervised weight loss program but my 2016 work insurance omit bariatric surgery BCBS. I found a plan through the market place UHC that would work. Have anyone used two insurance the Coinsurance is 0% after met $3600 deductible...oh how do I add a pic to my profile?

    Insurance Help

I've looked into different options and whew they are expensive for a family plan. Looks like this would be my only choice. I was reading somewhere about asking HR about a "rider' have anyone heard of that Yes I've looked into that as well

    Insurance Help

Its open enrollment with my company which has been bought out by another company...I was excited to renew my benefits but to my surprise this new company excludes bariatric surgery in ALL of their plans. I'm 75% complete with preop visits. I currently have to do a 6 month supervised diet with MD, which will not be complete until March. Any suggestions on what to do? This has been devastating to me.
