  1. My Dr. just mentioned during my fill this week that if I started having a problem with reflux that my band might be to tight and that he would have to unfill it some. Good luck.
  2. I have told everyone I know. Everyone has given me lots of support. My biggest decision was whether to tell my 2nd grade class or not. I decided to tell them. My surgery was 4 days before school started and I wasn't sure how much standing or hugs I could take. I didn't have any problems, even my class is supportive, and they bring me healthy snacks instead of cupcakes.
  3. I was banded August 30th, 2007. My Dr. is Dr. Verseman in Kalamazoo, MI. My surgery went better than I ever thought it would. It was the first surgery I had ever had and I was quite nervous, but I was at work 4 days later with no problem. I've just had my second fill. I can really tell there's a restriction this time. Before I didn't notice anything much. I'm down 37 pounds from the beginning of this journey. So far, so good! I'm looking forward to sharing my journey and reading about everyone elses. This looks like a great forum. I hope everyone has a fantastic 2008!:biggrin1: Linda
  4. Don't give up. I felt the same way until my first fill. The hunger went away after the first fill. I just had my second fill this week and I can really tell a difference. I was having no problem eating my 60 gr. of protein/1200 cal. before. I'm thinking it may be more of a challenge now. I'm full after a couple of bites. Good luck. Linda
